Something to Do

Arles Amphitheater – Once the home of fierce gladiatorial battles, built in 90 AD, this ancient two-tiered Roman amphitheater is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Vincent Van Gogh attended several bullfights here and painted a crowd of spectators in the Arles arena in 1888.
