In route from Saint-Tropez, to Lake Como, we were directed to a gem of a restaurant in the heart of Langhe, neighboring Barolo. A medieval village among the vineyards of Piedmont, Monforte d’Alba rises in an enchanting position. The restaurant, located in Monte d’Alba, is Trattoria Della Posta. Since 1875 the family has been aiming for authentic tastes in the charming environment of Piedmont’s old countryside. The care for ingredients, especially mushrooms and truffles, is outstanding.

Trattoria Della Posta – The chef is an expert in both Italian and international cuisine. Absolute quality is the aim for the chef. Food experimentation is important, however, local roots are supreme.
