Happy Birthday America

Aspen, Colorado

Going back to the late 1800’s, Aspen has been celebrating the Fourth of July.  Today, with an old fashioned twist, Independence Day is celebrated in our small town with a big patriotic heart and a tremendous amount of fun.  The annual parade attended by nearly 20,000 residents and visitors is kicked off by the U.S. Air Force with a sensational flyby.  The day nears an end as red, white and blue majestically light up the sky with a fireworks show set with Aspen Mountain as the dramatic backdrop.
