The Storm Cellar

The Storm Cellar is a project founded upon a love of Colorado and a desire to make great wine. The goal was to help put a relatively unknown, yet up-and-coming region, on the national map. The elevated property sits atop Sunshine Mesa, between the towns of Paonia and Hotchkiss. Ideally, it is well above the valley floor, virtually alone atop the mesa. The cellar is a collaborative vision between Steve Steese and Jayme Henderson. They two Denver sommeliers are now farmers and winemakers.

The AppleShed

The AppleShed represents some of Western Colorado’s finest artists. The feature artists in all media including painting, photography, sculpture, pottery and much more. The AppleShed is also the home of Williams Cellars winery with wine tastings year-round.

Rotary Club of Aspen

The Aspen Rotary Club is a humanitarian organization which embodies the spirit of “Service Above Self.” Aspen Rotary’s Ducky Derby raises more money to help more people in the Roaring Fork Valley than any other fundraiser of the entire year! The Aspen Rotarians meet every Thursday at 7am at the Aspen Elks Lodge. All are welcome.

The Highland Bowl

The Highland Bowl is Aspen’s Crown Jewel. The area offers some of the steepest and most challenging ski terrain in the U.S. This 782-foot vertical hike takes anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour. The trek can be particularly difficult for those not used to the altitude but the skiing and the views are worth every single step.
