The birthplace of the mojito—and a million signatures
One of Havana’s most iconic haunts, this buzzing bar and restaurant is a kaleidoscope of handwritten graffiti, live music, and rum-soaked legend.
One of Hemingway’s favorite bars, full of history and memorabilia since 1942. La Bodeguita is also known as the birthplace of the Mojito cocktail. The bartenders here make at least 500 mojitos every day. It is a must to scribe your name on the wall along with Brigitte Bardot, Fidel Castro, and Nat King Cole.
