The legendary Danieli has reopened as a Four Seasons, marrying centuries of Venetian grandeur with contemporary design and a new standard of personalized hospitality.
One of Venice’s great legends has entered a new era. Danieli, Venezia, A Four Seasons Hotel officially reopened in July 2026, bringing Four Seasons hospitality to an icon whose history stretches across three palaces and centuries of Venetian life.
At its heart remains 15th-century Palazzo Dandolo, with its soaring atrium, pink marble columns, Murano glass chandeliers, and magnificent golden staircase. But the renewed Danieli is not simply a restoration. Historic Venetian craftsmanship now meets contemporary design and the highly personalized service for which Four Seasons is known.
Its position on Riva degli Schiavoni remains extraordinary — steps from Piazza San Marco and facing the lagoon toward San Giorgio Maggiore. Terrazza Danieli continues the tradition of rooftop dining with one of Venice’s defining views, while Bar Dandolo brings cocktails and afternoon tea into the theatrical grandeur of the palazzo.
The first phase offers 120 accommodations, including 52 suites, with further rooms and suites arriving in 2027. A new Danieli Spa and swimming pool are scheduled to open later in 2026.
