Hidden behind the palace lies a thriving historic garden, once the crown jewel of Versailles’ kitchens. Today, the Potager du Roi is a living classroom, where centuries-old horticultural techniques continue to shape the land.

Built between 1678 and 1683 at the request of Louis XIV. This remarkable French garden near the Palace produced fresh vegetables and fruits for the table of the King’s court.
