A Gothic fairytale come to life
This iconic pink church defines San Miguel’s skyline and is a must-visit for architecture lovers and photographers alike.
The Parroquia is the best known icon of San Miguel. Towering above the town, the parish church can be seen from almost anywhere you go. This spectacular 17th century gothic structure is one of the most photographed churches in all of Mexico. Surprisingly, it was designed by a self-taught architect named Don Zeferino Gutiérrez.
