Inside scoop: Within the KSC grounds lies the Astronaut Beach House, officially known as the Kennedy Space Center Conference Center. Acquired by NASA in 1963, this two-story structure has historically served as a retreat for astronauts and their families prior to launches, offering a space for relaxation and private gatherings. The house contains memorabilia, including wine bottles signed by crew members identified by mission decals.
